Replaced the broken igniter on my 25+ year old Char-Broil grill. I had to drill out the mounting hole as the threads on these have major diameter 0.693" while the original hole was 0.625". No big deal if you have a hand drill, a drill bit of that size, and basic skills. You could also open the diameter with a round hand file, again, with basic skills. These are powerful igniters! Something like 10 megaJoules is released per cycle. Not only did it light the burner on first push/click, but the car next to me almost started on its own due to magnetic induction field generated and it also blew out all the christmas lights in the general vicinity - a bit of a EMP event. Ok joking aside...these work very well!
