Description
This is an exact replacement spark plug cap and wire by the original manufacturer, it is not a reproduction. It will fit either cylinder, just twist the rubber seal to fit left or right cylinder. The 25" plug wire will simply twist into the CDI box for an easy replacement. Replaces Polaris part numbers 4010477, 4010124-66, and 4010526. Sold each so order two if replacing both wire and cap assemblies. Fits the following models: 2003 Sportsman 600 2004 Sportsman 600 (Only models built before 02/23/2003) 2002-03 Sportsman 700 2004 Sportsman 700 (Only models built before 02/23/2003)

I had to replace the CDI system. This converted the ignition from AC to DC. The old plug wires were not up to the task. The new system was actually blowing the wires off the plugs, causing me nightmares. They were shorting and would out of the blue come completely off the plug. This is not good when plowing the driveway. Bought these wires and have had no problem since. Honestly, they quieted my machine down as they are not misfiring or shorting. A friend that works on ATVs said that I might want to try new plug wires to cure the problem. He was right. The uptick in power in that machine is amazing. When I hit the gas to pull out of the garage, as I always had done, it picked the front end right off the ground with a 5 foot plow on it. Plug wires are not cheap, over 1 dollar an inch, but they can make the difference between a machine operating or causing a multitude of electrical problems.
