This set - 9044C will fit all 1996-2003 GM 4.3s as the set comes with 7 wires for flexibility w/4 90s and 3 180 degree boots.Replacing a 3 yr / 37K mile set of JBA wires that still looked great, but had conductor failure on 3 wires at the last 1/2-3/4" inside the spark plug boots. Even the JBA monel wire conductor had disintegrated from overheating inside the boots and then attacked by moisture? - even though coated liberally with dielectric grease when installed. These Accel are my first 9000 series wire set and first Accel wire set in 30+ yrs. While I had high hopes for longevity of the 9000 ceramic boots in conjunction with my JBA titanium ceramic coated headers, I had some doubts as to the heat durability of the conductors/cables themselves.Well, from appearance & close inspection I shouldn't have been concerned. High quality, high % of high temperature silicone jacket. Reminds me of the first silicone Belden wires from the 70's that were almost indestructible.I was also concerned about the lengths as precut / preassembled wire sets always seem to be a compromise in that many are too long and just don't install neatly. These do, and in the OEM wire looms. Although 8mm (OEM 7.2 mm) they fit nicely with cyl #4 being a bit long with the 180 degree boot that originally came with a 90. But sets still installs neatly w/o any necessary re-terminating.So time will tell, but right now after 1500 miles in Texas summer heat and lots of stop & go city driving, I've got peace of mind again and confidence that I won't have to chase an intermediate secondary ignition problem again for quite some time.________________________________________Update 1/12/2016 NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT anymore for Accel (aparantly at least until the MSD/Holley merge is completed)1) Had 1 180 degree boot arc through to the dipstick tube. Albeit the tube was too close about 3/32" air gap - which I've since fixed, still disappointed that the porcelain boot would start to fail.2) Attempted to contact Accel website listed customer support to find the part # for a single 115 degree boot replacement wire only to find that now all of the Accel calls are referred to Holley support (MSD) at 1 866 464 6554. Unfortunately, Holley doesn't recognize, acknowledge or mention any accel products (or any other Mr Gasket, etc. either) on the FRU.Waiting on hold for 25 mins produced only frustration and a hang up. Did I mention that Accel's eMail contact link now merely opens a new product selection page. Apparently MSD sent everyone at Accel and told them that they'll take it from here,,,, and did nothing.Net - Obviously they don't need any more business. Especially mine.
